It’s been a busy week of adjusting to grad school. Thanks to an awesome friend, I survived a 10-hour drive from Columbus to Queens, got my stuff moved in, and got settled in.
It still hasn’t quite sunk in that I live in New York, or that grad school starts on Tuesday. I’ve been taking the advice from the grad 101 session and being a tourist while I can. So far I’ve been to the American Museum of Natural History, went to see War Paint, and will be seeing Great Comet tonight.
Orientation and doc day went well, and while I got the classes I want, Wednesdays will be a marathon session. Still, I’m glad to be here, eager to get started, and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
