This week’s assignment was to surveil our fellow classmates, and use that information in an unusual way. My group agreed to use instagram for our surveillance, agreeing to post insta stories over the weekend. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we would post stories at 12, 4, and 7pm. Admittedly, I don’t usually post stories on instagram. I mostly post pictures, and the occasional video post. In fact, I forgot to post on Friday. So I tried to post some extra stories on Saturday, and finish strong on Sunday.
Since I didn’t save the insta stories over Friday and Saturday of the people in my group, I managed to save the Suzanne’s story from Sunday, and a few pictures she had posted over the weekend. While it wasn’t enough to really do what I wanted to do with the pictures, I made what I had work.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any of the pictures from the weekend from Krizia, so instead, I used the pictures from her instagram posts.

To me, surveillance is normally used to get a leg up on someone, illegal purposes, or for some government use. So I thought it’d be nice to make something nice out of it. Even if it’s just photoshop art.
